A Seafood Lover’s Chardonnay
Every serious seafood lover needs a go-to Chardonnay, and one of our favorites is from Frank Family. Produced with grapes from the Carneros subregion of Napa Valley, this Chardonnay was born for pairing with seafood dishes like the ones we love to make. The Gulf of Mexico produces some of the sweetest and finest-tasting shrimp, crab and fish in the world – and these ingredients deserve a worthy wingman.
When we pour a glass of Frank Family Chardonnay, you’ll first notice its gorgeous light straw color. The palate is soft, round and smooth with the right amount of acidity to balance out rich seafood dishes. In fact, that sort of pairing is what this wine was born for. Look for notes of toasted buttery brioche, spice and lemon. You’ll find it’s full-bodied and creamy with delicate flavors of winter fruits and slight oak.
This wine pairs perfectly with so many of our seafood dishes, including our corn and crabmeat bisque, shrimp Alfredo and crabmeat-topped Fish Katie with Creole Meuniere.
